Maun

Maun is the gateway town for the Okavango, built around an airport that dispatches light aircraft to delta camps all day. It holds the supply shops, safari operators and self-drive rental firms for the region. Most travellers pass through rather than stay, though river lodges just outside town are pleasant for a night.
