Guidese editorial policy
Guidese publishes only travel information it can source. Prices, fees and seasons keep their source and research date, automatic research is reviewed by staff before publishing, unknown details are marked unavailable, and rankings are never sold. Corrections can be sent through the contact page and are reviewed promptly.
What does Guidese publish?
Guidese is a travel planning and trip cost estimation platform: budgets, daily costs, itineraries and destination guides for 70+ countries. We publish daily costs, travel seasons, entrance fees and destination guides only when we can point to a source.
How is information reviewed?
Automatically researched figures go into a review queue and are published only after staff approve them. Every type of information has a review interval, and anything past its review date is flagged.
How are photos chosen?
Photos come from licensed or public-domain sources, mainly Wikimedia Commons, and show the license and attribution. We do not use AI-generated pictures of real places.
How are corrections handled?
If something is wrong, send it through the contact page. We check it against the source, update the record and the page shows the new update date.
Are there affiliate links?
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. They never change which places appear or in what order.
