Kibale is a moist tropical forest in western Uganda with thirteen primate species, including a large and well-habituated chimpanzee population. Tracking walks leave twice daily and usually find a group within a couple of hours. The Bigodi wetland beside the park is a community-run birding and monkey walk worth a morning on its own.
